Olesya has over 20 years' experience advising corporate and private clients on Russian currency regulation and foreign exchange legislation, including the cancellation and reduction of administrative fines in both judicial and pre-trial proceedings. She regularly interacts with the Federal Tax Service, the Government Commission on Foreign Investments and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
She built a successful career at PwC, where she led projects in risk management, currency regulation and international transactions. Olesya has developed more than 80 compliance strategies for corporations and private investors operating under sanctions regimes. Between 2022 and 2024, she successfully challenged account freezes exceeding € 50 million in total and conducted more than 200 foreign exchange audits.
She graduated from the Institute of International Relations of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE).
She is fluent in Russian, English and German.
